This Sunday is going to be amazing. Ted and Gayle Haggard will be live at Elevation on stage with Pastor Steven. I hope this Sunday will for some begin a time of healing in their lives and for others be a time of strengthening against sin. Sin creeps in one step at a time, and gives birth to something much bigger. Many people will be showing up just to hear the story, but it is my prayer that the application of Ted and Gayle Haggard’s story will speak loudly to everyone that comes. It is my prayer that this will help people catch sin in the first step and get rid of it before it gives birth to something bigger. Read more about this on Pastor Steven’s blog. Come this Sunday to hear the story of Ted and Gayle Haggard.

Well, this weekend has been awesome. God is amazing and keeps blowing my mind with what He is doing in Charlotte. We had 7,899 people in attendance this weekend and 740 salvations! For real, it is unbelievable to be a part of what God is doing through Elevation. Pastor Furtick really killed it this week and the worship guys rocked with tons of energy in our 10 worship services. ALSO… my production volunteers really knocked it out of the park! Great job guys! Here is our cue sheet from this past week as well as our opening video (SICK- great job Adam and Jared on the video work and Aaron Robertson for the programming and audio mixing!) and a clip of one of the worship songs from this week. I’m going to try to post the entire worship service later this week. Enjoy!
Also… A little breakdance clip coming your way later this week

Kicked the week off big with the performance of a Mutemath song called, “spotlight.” Mack killed it at our providence campus. Take a look at these pics. Remember, if you want something you see on our stage, then when we are done with it, you can have it!

Check out this worship element we used this past week. This cartoon was built as a support element for our bands to the tune of “Another Way to Die” off the 007 soundtrack featuring Jack White and Alicia Keys. Jeff our White Envelope Award winning motion graphics artist built this cartoon. Enjoy… we all loved it. Give me your feedback.
Hello! We’re back after a nice vacation! Eight days of phone being dead relaxing! I’m about to start mixing the audio from Christmas Eve. Once the tracks are mixed I’ll be posting some more video of the service online. Here are a few things to look at from the stage design.
First off… We have some incredible photographers! The pictures below are taken by Sean Lyon and Cheyenne Schultz. Sean leads our photography team. Check out their sites to see more about what they do.
God did some amazing things on Christmas Eve. There were over 6000 people in attendance and over 400 salvations! I was blown away by how the night turned out. God is Good.
Here are some insights on the Christmas Eve stage design. There were several considrations… I wanted depth between Pastor Steven/Worship Leaders and the background so we used a scrim behind the band that was about 25ft behind the last piece of lightlight truss you see in these pictures. The scrim was lite with about 30 COLORado 3’s all in line. So that’s the background…
Then we had 40 movers in all. 12 were flown above the stage and 28 were placed on the lighting truss and ground. Zach from Audio Ethics came up with the lighting design for the event.
We had three screens flown over stage. (2) 16ft x 9ft screens on either side of a 24ft center screen. In addition to the screens we had 6 plasmas on stage that expanded the stage out around the bowl of the stage.
The guys from Audio Ethics were great to work with. Check them out if you have any production needs.
All this may be boring but for those of you who wanted to know what all was on stage… there you go! Enjoy the pictures.

Due to popular request on sunday. Here is the Yule-Tithe Cheer video from yesterday. Enjoy.

My wife loves national geographic. We watched hours and hours of PLANET EARTH (a documentary about life on earth shot by national geographic) when it came out. Amazing footage! Now I’m not one to normally name drop, but I just Met Jared Hogan! The creative team got to eat lunch with him on Tuesday! We often look for people who have achieved amazing things in order to pick their brain about how they have gotten where they are and where it all began!
Did you know that the filming of National Geographic’s Plant Earth was in production for 5 years, shot over 2,000 days in the field, in 200 locations and all in High Definition! If you haven’t watched it check it out!
Oops… Jared has nothing to do with National Geographic, I just realized that i was telling you too different stories at the same time. Sorry about that. Anyways… lunch with Jared was nice.
